Every Lovlee Comfort romper is cut with extra length at the wrists and ankles, folded into a cuff. As your baby grows, you unfold. One romper, three stages of wear, and a few extra months before you need the next size.
Stage one: cuffs folded
Fold the sleeve cuffs all the way over the hands for built-in mittens. Newborns scratch, and this keeps little faces safe without separate mitts that fall off at 2am. Fold the ankle cuffs over the feet for a footed fit.
Stage two: cuffs out
Around the three month mark, unfold the sleeve cuffs once. Hands are free to grab, and the sleeve now reaches the wrist. Keep the feet folded for warmth and grip.
Stage three: feet out
Once your baby is pulling up and cruising, unfold the ankle cuffs completely for a footless fit. The romper still fits through the body, and bare feet grip the floor better than fabric.
The two-way zipper
Zip from the top for getting dressed. Unzip from the bottom for a diaper change without undoing the whole thing, one-handed, while the other hand keeps the baby company. The zipper garage at the chin means no scratched skin.
Sizing with a convertible romper
Because the cuffs add reach, most parents buy the size that fits the body now and let the cuffs handle the length. If your baby is between sizes, size up. Bamboo viscose has four-way stretch and will keep up.
